The Basics in the Great Outdoors
EXCELLENT Based on 14 reviews Posted on BrookeVerified We loved staying with Melissa on her beautiful farm! The stay was very comfortable.Posted on ShellyVerified My daughter and I stayed on Melissa's farm one evening and wished we would have had more time to stay. The accommodations were amazing! We arrived when it was dark and we were able to navigate the farm easily with Melissa's clear instructions. The house is gorgeous! Upon waking the next morning we were able to take in all of the beautiful surroundings and walk through the gardens. I was especially thankful for all of the free and clear/natural products that were offered in the space. Thank you so much Melissa, as well, for the French press!! We will definitely be back to stay on this magical land the next time we are in the area.Posted on KristaVerified Excellent long-term stay. Owner was very accommodating, and quick to respond. Space was very clean. Highly recommend!Posted on WyattVerified Cool Creek Farm is the perfect modern traveler’s getaway with the luxuries you are used to. The host’s attention to detail shines in the cleanliness, taste of decor, and room arrangement. Secluded yet close to downtown, an easy to follow check in process, and responsive hospitality, make this the ideal place to experience the town of Pittsboro.Posted on ChristinaVerified Excellent private and secluded area. Nice bedroom with soaking tub. Able to relax in comfort.Posted on LauraVerified I was in the area for only one night and so enjoyed staying at Melissa’s farm. I found the listing and pics to be accurate, directions were great, and the area beautiful and peaceful. Although there is phone service and WiFi, I chose to use this as an opportunity to go easy on technology and enjoy nature. I loved it and would stay again if I have the chance.Posted on AllisonVerified I needed a quiet spot for one night and Melissa's place was perfect. It's a lovely, quiet spot, well off the beaten track. Try to arrive during daylight hours since that will make it easier to find.Posted on MeredithVerified My stay was phenomenal! I requested a last minute stay for some personal R&R. Melissa welcomed me and made my visit calm and peaceful.Posted on GaryVerified The room was very spacious with a nice walk-in closet with plenty of shelving and also a nice mini-fridge. The bed was very comfortable! Melissa also provided nice breakfast bars as well as course ground coffee and everything else needed for my first cup of coffee from a French Press. Wasn't bad but I don't think I'll be switching away from my double shot espressos any time soon. :-) The home is nicely secluded from any neighbors. I just wish I had more time to explore the expansive property! Great value for the price, and I will definitely be using this option again when coming to visit my mom in Pittsboro.Posted on MelissaVerified Highly recommend! We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area. This is a lovely home set on a peaceful, quiet, and very relaxing farm. The host was kind enough to invite us to a bonfire upon our arrival, which made us feel very welcome. There are several small local restaurants nearby for meals. The only minor drawback—though it wasn’t really an issue for my husband and me—was the inconsistent WiFi signal and limited cell service (AT&T).
