Cool Creek Farm welcomes you! We are home to horses, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks and indoor/outdoor cats. The 14-acre farm is located just minutes from Shakori Hills Community Arts Center which hosts many live musical events throughout the year. The farm is convenient to Pittsboro, Saxapahaw and Chapel Hill. But, you’ll love the beautiful, peaceful setting right here too! We can accommodate horses for overnight lodging, ask for details!

Barn Loft Glamping

The Basics in the Great Outdoors

This is a funky barn glamp experience for those up for some adventure. All guests must be at least 12 years old, comfortable with heights, able to climb a 10 foot vertical ladder and weigh less than 225lbs. Camp in the dry barn, bring your own bedding but forget the tent! Have use of a composting outhouse, access to water and electricity, bonfire pit, dishwashing station, and covered and outdoor tables. The barn loft has a large tarp on the floor for your bedding and a floor fan.
